Alberdingk Boley, Inc has introduced a new polyurethane copolymer for the wood flooring market. UC 84 is a new polyurethane acrylic waterborne dispersion that is produced with ABI.s solvent-free dispersion process. The product has excellent chemical resistance, hardness and clarity, making it ideal for interior wood applications.
UC 84 is a unique copolymer dispersion product designed to outperform leading commercial wood flooring products in a low VOC formulation (150 g/L). Based on aliphatic polycarbonate polyurethane and polyacrylate chemistry, the UC84 provides a coating formulator the ability to meet environmental demands without sacrificing performance. In a 1K or a 2K formulation, the UC84 provides superior abrasion, scuff and chemical resistance as well as high gloss and clarity.
